The pooches received a series of paws as they took part in a charity dog show this weekend.
About 100 dogs attended the show with their families on May 15 to raise money for the Retired Greyhounds’ Association and Harold Hill Deer Aid

The Woof and Walkies Fun Dog Show was held on May 15 to benefit the Retired Greyhounds’ Association and Harold Hill Deer Aid.
Best looking male: First place went to Jimmy the rescued greyhound, second to Boycie Boy the boxer and third to Kai a seven-year-old border collie

He saw around 100 furry companions and their owners congregate at Deer’s Rest in Noak Hill Road for a day of paw fun.
The prettiest female: First place went to Rough Collie Darcey, second to Staffordshire Bull Terrier Skye and third to Phobe, the Hungarian vizsla.

At lunchtime, £2 classes – or three for £5 – kicked into action with 11 categories including best puppy, prettiest male, prettiest female and best in show.

Co-host Hazel Gibbons’ chihuahua Zachary came in first in the best costume category for his teenage mutant ninja turtle outfit.
Best Rescue: First place went to Boycie the Chihuahua, second to Jake and third to Milo

This category was dedicated to the memory of his dog Chelsea, who died last October.

Best disguise: Second place goes to Hubble, the six-year-old greyhound

The event succeeded in raising over £500 for the two charities.
Best veteran (seven years and older): First place went to Vinney, the 13-year-old Labrador; second to Bose, the 11-year-old schnauzer; and Zippy, a greyhound from third to eight years old

Hazel sent her congratulations to all the winners: “It was great to see a mix of puppies, big and small dogs and it was nice to see so many families coming.”
Best greyhound (including lurchers): First place went to three-year-old Tilly, second place to Rosie, four, and third place to two-year-old Patrick

Pet groomer Doggie Delights donated prizes, including a £30 grooming voucher for best in show, and the event was sponsored by Hillpark Vets.
The most attractive eyes: the first place went to the border collie Kai, the second to the cocker spaniel Paris and the third to the shar-pei Nala
