Fans of the four-legged canine friends will be delighted to hear that Hunstanton’s fun dog show is back in May.
After a two-year absence, the Hunstanton Fun Dog Show, organized by the Barking Bugle Dog Team, will take place on Saturday May 7 at Glebe House School.
It’s the doggie’s best day ever and there’s a lot of excitement at Barking Bugle headquarters.
There are 12 fun classes to take on with loads of rosettes up for grabs up to a whopping 10th place, plus trophies for Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show.
There is no need to pre-enter, just show up on the day.
Any dog has a chance of winning a rosette at the show, it doesn’t matter if you have a wobbly eye or even two, if you’re limping or if you’re missing a few teeth (and that’s if you’re not than the owner).
You could be covered in mud or sand, or soaked.
All well behaved dogs are welcome, pedigree and otherwise and if you are unsure of your parentage there is absolutely no reason to be embarrassed as we will not ask you for details.
The show is all about having a fun, wooftastic time and celebrating all things canine.
Dogs will also have the opportunity to try flyball and compete in a fastest rappel competition.
There will be a trick masterclass with Ruth, followed by a best trick contest and a prize awaiting the winner.
And if that wasn’t enough, K9 Capers has a display team to keep everyone entertained.
For those in the mood for a bit of retail therapy, there will be shopping stalls selling treats, bedding, collars, leashes and toys.
There are plenty of refreshments including vegan options and there is also free parking on site.
