Beagles, Labrador Retrievers and Pugs are among the dog breeds most likely to beg for food scraps at the table.
It’s hard to resist those whiny puppy eyes for your dinner, but according to the American Kennel Club, some breeds always prance their owners until they give in — and Labrador Retrievers top the list. They may be man’s best friend, but it seems Labradors are quite eager to dig into your delicious meal.
Other puppies on the list also include Beagles, beautiful Dachshunds, and English Bull Terriers.
“Some dogs are always hungry and are experts at making their humans feel guilty when they eat a meal – whining, looking glum and pawing at their owner until they give in and drop a piece into their waiting mouth. “, said the research.

Keeping your dog away from the dining table is an important step in preventing begging behavior, but it can also be a tough habit to break.
